Rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5). The service is great. The trick is booking ahead, even if the wait still tests your patience.

I took my CBR 150R to ASTRA Honda Jombor on Magelang Street to be serviced.

I booked the slot through the Motorku X app the Thursday before. I wanted 09:00. The two earlier windows were already full, so 09:00 was what I got. The app also drops a reminder into my calendar, and on Saturday morning that little nudge was what made the appointment feel real.

I woke slow. Breakfast at home, the cats underfoot, no rush at all. When it was time I rode over and arrived just before nine.

At the gate the security asked the usual thing: dealer visit, or service? I said service, and that I had booked. He handed me receipt B010 and pointed me to the west side. That is when I saw the lot. Motorcycles were everywhere, easily sixty of them already, and mine made sixty-one. This was a full house.

Inside, the service advisor told me what you hear at every busy workshop: just wait, we will call you. So I settled into the waiting room, which, to be fair, is a proper one. Air conditioning, free drinks, snacks. I counted maybe forty people waiting. Two of us, myself included, held a B ticket from a booking. Everyone else was a walk-in with an R ticket. That single letter is the whole point of why I bothered to book.

The wait tested me. At quarter past nine I was still sitting there, and for a moment I wondered if the booking had been useless. I checked with the security who gave me the ticket. He confirmed it was legit and told me to keep waiting. Then the service advisor finally called me in. We walked through the bike and the problem I had noticed before, and I talked more than I should have. That is the point of the call, though: say what is wrong while it is still on the plan.

They asked the one question that shapes your whole day: wait on site, or step out and come back when it is done? I chose to step out and grabbed a Grab home.

The rest of the morning ran without me. Around half past ten the mechanic messaged on WhatsApp to say the bike was fine and offered to change the oil too, an SPX. I said yes. Late morning the service advisor confirmed through the app that my motorcycle was in final inspection, and soon after the cashier messaged that I could come pick it up and pay.

By a little past noon I was back at the workshop, paid, and done. And here is the part worth sitting with: people who had arrived earlier than me were still sitting there waiting to be called by the service advisor, while my bike was already serviced and ready to ride home.

Here is the proof: my service ticket (B010) and the final receipt from that August 2026 visit. The number starting with B is the detail worth noticing.

If you service your bike here, book the slot. Listen to the app. The booking will not spare you the wait, but it will spare you the uncertainty, and by the end of the morning it is what gets you out the door first.

One bike, one lesson: a booking is rarely the shortest path, and almost always the smarter one.
